Currently, the following job position is available in the Trust Administration.

 

Trust Administrator

The Rainy River First Nations Trust is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in the operations and administration of the Trust in a manner that preserves and protects it for the benefit of the Rainy River First Nations and future generations of Members. Qualifications: Several years varied accounting and administrative experience preferably with a Business administration or accounting degree or enrolment in recognized accounting program. Effective interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential. Must be detail oriented with proven organizational skills and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines. Strong analytical skills and experience/ability interpreting agreement/policies and understanding complex processes are necessary. Ability/experience with computer applications, including Simply Accounting, Excel, Access and PowerPoint applications is necessary. Duties: The Trust Administrator assists both, the Chairs of the Financial Trustee Committee and the Community Fund Trustee Committee by providing day-to-day administration of the Rainy River First Nations Trust, in accordance with its terms established May 6, 2005. Duties include recording of minutes, maintenance and preparation of all accounting records and financial statements, ensuring proper documentation and monitoring the completion of submissions. The Trust Administrator will also prepare reports, activities, newsletters and maintenance of current information on the website.
